Body shape, and why bohemian tribal, where does it come from?

Working as a personal shopper and stylist in famous department stores in the UK and the Dubai in the past gave me an insight to the many beautiful different body shapes out there of women from all different countries.

How unique we all are.

I learnt how to fit different styles, cuts, colours and designs on different personality types.

Each one of us is different, our personalities match also our outer being and the way we wear colours and shapes, patterns and designs and what makes us feel comfortable on the inside, out.

Some of us like simple, natural, while others love the flamboyant, the exotic with flare, while others yet again somewhere in between.

We are emotional frequencies when you get down to the Physics, and what we wear can either make us feel good or bad, happy or sad.

Our overall moods represent usually the colours we like.

This is why it is important to understand that whatever suits our shape and colouring, our unique personality, and our inner emotion of who we are, will have an effect on us.

So choose wisely <3

Here are the different body shapes,

can you find yourself?

The neat hourglass

The inverted Triangle

The lean column

The apple

The full hourglass

The pear

The rectangle

The different body shapes determine how to dress using certain cuts and shapes to suit you.

The clothes which will flatter you best depending on your body shape.

It doesn't matter what size or shape you are, its the fit of your clothes.

Lets starts with:

1. The neat hourglass:

Look at yourself in the mirror in your underwear. Stand with your legs together and your arms a bit away from your sides. Examine the area from under your arms, past your bust and ribcage, over your waist and hips to the fullest part of your thighs.

2. The inverted triangle:

Look at yourself in the mirror in your underwear. Stand with your legs together and your arms a bit away from your sides. Examine the area from under your arms, past your bust and ribcage, over your waist and hips to the fullest part of your thighs.

Depending what type of colours you wear and what type of dresser you are, will be in the next chapter blog.

Bohemian styles for all shapes and sizes and all ages in full bohemian colours,
where do you think, the bohemian styles came from?

From world tribal communities being visited by nomadic people travelling around the world.
The nomads travelled extensively and everywhere they went they incorporated their own fusion of clothing.

The Nomads came from Europe and Asia and India and other countries, travelling to different countries all over the world.

Clothing has a function, to keep warm through winter and cool in the summer.

Look how similar the fashion bohemian trends have become tribal and nomadic themed.

And why does it sometimes take us a life time to explore colour,...

wearing it with a smile,

Who are we really inside?

Nomadic people of the planet displaced, trying to find our own tribe.

Those were our ancestors
and where we have come from.

Its why those of us are mysteriously drawn to the tribal, the bohemian,..the ancient past.

Never forget who you are.

bohodogon once upon a star is exactly about that.

fusing our ancient past with the present.

<3

This is a music video I wrote together with my husband, about searching who we are.

"christos mythos mary jane"

searchers through time.

We are endless nomads,....  Kings and Queens perhaps not from this world,.... perhaps from beyond, the stars?
